Downright Canadian Theatre Company (DCTC) is a not-for-profit organization registered with the Province of Alberta and a registered charitable organization with Revenue Canada BN 87186 0391 RR0001.

We are dedicated to educating individuals of all ages the importance of drama through workshops, summer drama camps and productions. Through the use of games and exersizes, our instructors assist in stimulating imagination and human interaction while expanding awareness and developing independent thinking .Drama is an excellent medium to overcome shyness, social fears and aid in conflict resolution It is a language used to express feeling and emotion. Drama is used in our daily lives and the results are extremely positive.

• All our programs are currently youth focused.
• We pride ourselves on our "Canadian only" policy for the drama workshop curriculum and we only produce plays written by Canadian playwrights with a local emphasis.
• All productions are of a cooperative nature and that students learn both the performance and backstage aspects of theatre.
